Ecclesiastes 5:18

"Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life." Ecclesiastes 5:18
I am so thankful that I can enjoy the life God has given us with my husband and our children!

We now have three caterpillars in a jar. I found them in our yard as we were leaving to go watch a parade with my parents. So of course, I had to run back inside and grab a jar to put them in. They went with us. Then, at my parent's house, I looked up the type of caterpillars they were while the kids went to help pick apples. ReplyDeleteWe still have a pop-up butterfly habitat, so now our youngest will get to watch (and remember) the cycle of the butterflies.
Brandi - we do the same things :) We were on our way to a Charlotte Mason style Nature thing for our "Keepers of the Faith Club" and we ran back in the house to get a jar to bring the BIGGEST cicada I have ever seen! (and no, I didn't know what it was when we trapped it ;)
ReplyDeleteWe carry the butterfly pop up tent with us too! Last night we had a cookout at a local park with friends and Christa caught the biggest cricket I have ever seen and a TOAD. Pics to come..but only of the toad. I was too tired to take pics of the cricket! She INSISTED on letting them go at our pond before she went to bed :) she even fell asleep on the way home and was IN BED and successfully survived the 'van to bed' transfer, and then remembered the toad and cricket. She cracks.me.up! Thanks for your comments, chica! :)
