Tadpoles!
Tadpoles!
The side of our pond with a tadpole swimming by. He's to
the left of the leaf. We have tons of tadpoles! We had a
blast looking at them today!
Leaning into the pond to get a closer look...
and Christa FELL IN THE POND yesterday
leaning too much on a rock! The rock gave way
and, well...we ended up needing a bath! LOL
We brought them inside for a closer look...we
brought them inside (about 20 - 30 of them
that we caught with the net!) in a jelly jar, and
then looked at them individually in a small clear
glass custard bowl.
We have tadpoles of all sizes! Can you see the
legs on thise one!? They are SSOOOO tiny!

Special time with Christa
All we did was drive up to Costco for about 29 seconds there
to get some bread and look for some Armorall, but I did
get to drive Doug's *PRISTEEN* truck and it was just Christa
and I, and we really enjoyed that! She put stickers on her
face, and kept saying, "Look Mommy! I have butterflies on
my lips!" (the stickers had butterflies on them) Christa is
a lot of fun!

HAIL!

The girls so love to get in their bathing suits
and washing vehicles!

Kayleigh and Christa kept spraying each other
with the hose long after the truck was done!
A late lunch outside... they were outside
almost all day!

The girls revamped a crawlspace
for their own little 'secret play area'
they moved all the stuff themselves!
They put the floor covering down and
everything! and they use a flashlight so
they can see with the door closed. It's
actually nice in there...we read our
devotionals in there one night and it was
quite comfortable!

little girl!

Lemonade Money for 'Anthem Lemonaid'

raised for Children's Miracle Network by selling
the lemonade provided by Anthem! They had a

Another summer park day with friends!
They found a dead fish, and could
see some ribs.. they were pretty
excited about that!
Christa in her friend's stroller, that
she has decided she likes it better
than her own....
walking a bit while the rest of the
crew played...there was about 12 children
in all for this play trip and about 6 mommies!
What a nice bunch of ladies and children
to be with! No pics of them or their
children, because I didn't ask them yet
if I could post!
Another happy library program!
The girls loved this one... and probably partly
because there were about 5 other families there
that we knew. Thanks to Karen for getting
everyone together ;)
Our three sat together part of the time
and I couldn't believe how long Christa's
hair has gotten!
This program was very interactive, and they
got to sing, and play instruments and get up and
dance some... young childrens' dreams come true!
The Blog
after their bath this morning, the girls sat and
watched the blog and the videos of their favorite
songs....they watched them all a few times! They
just giggled incessantly at seeing their fav songs
on the blog and the LINKS to the VIDEOS. Glad
to see that technology can still impress their young
little minds in the age they are growing up in!

Daddy's home for his birthday celebration!
The girls all love a celebration! They
were so excited to give Doug his gifts
and have him open them. They jump
up and down and stay right next to him and
watch his every move as he's opening the
presents! Zoe wrapped all her own gifts,
even though they were in a gift bag! Doug
looked like he had a blast opening them all and
seeing how thrilled the girls were to give him
gifts!
That's a lot of candles!!
We also went to dinner with Grandma and
Grandpa, and of *course* they told the waitstaff
about Doug's birthday, and they sang to him and made
him chuckle! I love it! The girls loved the hat and
the singing! Happy Birthday Doug!!!!!
